Absu returns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to change my underwear 666 times upon listening to this. The songs are so goddamn violent and stripped down of any atmospheric feel that its an immense joy to played them over and over, I can only compare this to the ferocity that went down my spine upon listening to Immortal when they released "Battles in the North" Yes, it is that fucking brutal. The production is demo like and raw which does go along the lines of what we can hopefully expect upon the release of the new self titled release to come out on Candlelight Recs sometime this year as word has it.
Rumpelstiltskin Grinder is just not a wise choice to put on the same platter o' splatter as Absu. they are more of a happy thrash kind of hybrid and reminds me of MOD and Metallica- "Master of puppets" times. Not bad but they are totally pulverized here. Don't know who's idea that was to put them together but their side of the 7" is one to be forever ignored.
