When it comes to American Black Metal one indeed does to have to be careful of the endless heaps of manure that the US spawned within this genre. Ash Pool, while far from having been part of the select handful of bands that do offer something tangible for quality as the likes of Cult of Daath, Bloodstorm, etc now need to be included in this select group.

WTOIH is a monster of cool riffs. The topics aren't the usual winter storm or praise to some ancient rag head deity. Better yet, we encounter sexual depravity with its violent SNM references amplified by a voice of anger that does justice to what the topics are. The production is a rather simple one and the only fault I find in here is that I wish the drum playing could have been a little tighter; there are some slip ups with the timing, specially in the opening track.

I do SINCERELY hope to hear more from this outfit as, they have tons of potential and there is so much to offer in their music with it's Thrash roots which do include healthy doses of Leviathan and Von to mind and that is never bad, never!
