United Forces Website: http://www.sgt-d.com This is claimed to be the last release to be done by S.O.D. yet, I do no believe this as the band is still highly marketable and a very good deal in a live setting and much better than either Anthrax or M.O.D. so, we'll see if this actually comes to pass. "Rise of the Infidels" is in reality a 4 track EP as the rest of the tracks are live fillers of songs we have already heard before in one form or another. The first song, "Stand Up and Fight" is a bit more hardcore sounding and the other 3 songs, are in the more recognizable faster approach they are known for. I for one, favor these 3 tracks much more than the whole of the CD. The live tracks are good in sound and do reflect what they are like live. Couldn't quite recommend to get the whole thing or just individual tracks so, it just depends what level of fan you are in regards to them. 7.5/10 -Abysmal Lord |
