So, Here I was reviewing the Evil Witch demo and their throwback to heavy metal and then, it dawned of me that, I had not reviewed this.

Brats was a semi Punk/Metal from Denmark that had both Michael Denner and Hank Sherman before their jump into the ranks of the all mighty Mercyful Fate. While this was only a pre-cursor in the history and background of Mercyful fate itself, there were already hints of their future double guitar attack. The LP was borderline between the more 70's sounding Judas Priest and some punk. However, there were some flashes of an original sound in their blend of styles. Some of the heavier tracks here are "pinned on my eyelids", "sense my boy", "tame me". There are no weak spots in this LP and you may be yet taken in by more than what was mentioned as there are no weak songs here, all very upbeat indeed.
