10.Agonizing World Massacra was indeed an intense and very enjoyable band. "Enjoy The Violence" was their second release and, also their most intense one.
As the early 1990's started w/ wave after wave of Death/Grind, these Frenchmen stood aside from the pack by truly being Death Metal w/ a hearty dose of Thrash riffing which was not as common of a thing since the scene was still tired of that sort of music which had beat itself to a pulp due to over signing of bands that had nothing to offer but rehashed material and copying of their favorite bands. In my opinion, Massacra was the French equivalent of Sweden's Seance, since they did not need to to Grindblast but, did pummel hard, offered songs that were just so awesome, I could not believe my ears such a thing were happening. So, if you need a dose of Death, do pick this up and enjoy an offering to the metal gods. -Abysmal Lord |
