Very underground from the land of chicks with hairy armpits. I do not know many people who ever heard of this French group even back in the '80s.
This sort of album was probably light years ahead of the competition in terms of it's remarkable aggressiveness. It had the drumming madness that would become re known by its use from Sarcofago, the fast riffing that Deathrow and Cryptic Slaughter managed with earlier works and the vocal attributes that are so comparable to Voivod. Yet, by naming the more known bands it's just a means to explain what they are offered , not whom they sounded like or imitated- if anything, they were imitated. This was a very original band firmly exploiting a metalized hardcore-punk sound. There are plenty of great riffs like #2 track, "No Moral", the ever chaotic #4 "Et Nox Fracta Est" which just tells me how much Mayhem owes to this band, even though they may not acknowledge this or even heard of them. The whole thing is just kick ass. Some have argued that had they been in a more "Satanic" vein, they could have been a bigger and more remembered band (However, I disagree as many a pseudo-Satanic band was forgotten and the one below did not raise his trident in praise.) and some others compared them to Testament- I see no comparison here whatsoever with that.

in 2007, Hell's Headbangers re-issued the LP with the 1984 as a bonus and a new cover. I can't quite figure out what the fuck the cover is about. Some kind of butt tickler, I guess.
