Wisconsin based band Num Skull is the true example of aggressive American Thrash. Unfortunately, line many bands of past , present, and future, they suffered from the lack of support from their label, Enigma Records (a Metal Blade records sub-division) even though they had all the strappings on to become a force to reckon with. Death's former manager, Eric Griff, produced this LP as well as a myriad of other lesser know bands like Acrophet, Viogression and Morbid Saint.

This release is very heavy in terms of Speed Metal/Thrash and, in my opinion was like a way better Hallow's Eve, since in listening to the riffs, there are some similarities to be found, and I'd even dare say Nasty Savage comes to mind as well as Canadian band Coven during the "Blessed is the black" era. The production was very clear but, not pussy like clean. It was a dirty one and not a single song is wasted to mediocrity.
