Coming from Florida “THE THIRD COLLISION” has influences ranging all over the musical spectrum which blends together to have a unique sound that allows them to hold their own in the Florida metal scene. The mixture of style gives this band a killer sound that for the most part has a thrashy/melodic drive to the tracks. The vocalist Bo has a great voice to her kind of reminds me of Crisis or Genitourters, but with more melody to it. The guitar riffs are great on this demo Shawn has a great groove driven thrash sound that is found in a lot of newer metal bands (and that’s not meaning Nu-Metal) but has that down tuned touch to give it a brutal edge to it.  The drums and bass are pretty straightforward but keep real good time and rhythm with the band as a whole.  I would have to say I loved every track on this demo well worth listening to a couple times over. My favorite track was “Vindictive” but all the tracks are pretty killer. I think if the band had a dude singing it would be missing something because Bo and Shawn’s combo hear makes an awesome blend together. The recording quality is outstanding here this is a really good recorded demo, talk to this band maybe they can help you out with your sound as far as recording goes because they know their shit.

I think since this release the band has changed some members or is still currently looking for a bass player and drummer. I’ll have to wait and see what this band comes out with next to see the differences hopefully it stays similar but steps it up a notch.
