Record Label: Unsigned Line-Up: Hastoth - Guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Drums, Vocals Track Listing: 1. The Passing of Autumn 2. Artifcats of the Great Race of Yith 3. Children of Ilúvatar 4. The Ruins/Memorial Website: http://www.myspace.com/wormtongueus Hailing from Virginia, Wormtongue is another one man project of evil trying to put his name out there. Pretty much your stand low sounding black metal sludge, but wormtongue do throw some folk guitar riffs in there which makes for a interesting listen at times. The first track “The Passing of Autumn” is quite lengthy but sets a good mood of the dying season that is autumn. I still don’t completely understand the point behind the black metal sound and efforts these guys go for but this isn’t the worst demo I have heard. I can’t say anything really stood out for me but the track “The Ruins/Memorial” is by far the best on the demo you get a nice transition of folk, black, and classic metal thrown in. One thing is for sure when something doesn’t work out in a one man black metal band you can always fire yourself and come up with a new name.
