Salutem, Mors-Ra and a thousand congratulations and Necros Christo’s new CD

Getting to the point, are you and the rest of NC satisfied with how this CD came out sound wise?

Thanks for your words and yes, we`re all very satisfied about how “Triune Impurity Rites†turned out to be like. And although the sound is indeed awesome it`s obviously the whole package like the layout, the music as well as the structure of this album which summons the right spirits in the end…not to forget the fantastic work of Sepulchral Voice Rex… As was the case with previous works, Necros Christo’s music make use of a lot of intros you name “Templesâ€. In the new CD, there is a fair amount of acoustic guitar as well.

Why did you want to use this as well?

Simply because they match perfectly. I`m deep into the quest of letting the Occult Absolute emanate even through my acoustic pieces, so when I had finished the three “gates†it was clear what to do with them. Everything has a purpose and so do my “gatesâ€. When I did the beginning of “Offenbarungen der Mayrim†and showed it to a student of mine (I`m a classical guitar teacher), he immediately said that this sounds like someone is summoning demons out of hell with a fuckin` single acoustic guitar. What more can I ask for…???

What is the goal of the placing of intros/Temples in your recordings? More specifically what is it they attain for the listener?

We do not record ordinary Metal albums. Every Necros Christos release is a foul mass in its own and my “temples†are the pillars of the grand hall of praising the Occult which in the end refers to what Necros Christos is all about…

How does Drowned as a side project fit in with the immediate needs of NC?

To judge Drowned as a “sideproject†is like inverted blasphemy. Drowned is one of the oldest existing cults of dark Death Metal in Berlin (even Germany) and when they asked me to join in on vocals I gladly accepted immediately. Both bands cannot be mixed as different persons do the music in a totally different way of composing, so I hope things are clearer now concerning the obscure work of Drowned…

The ideas for lyrics are depicting a lot of ancient Middle Eastern concepts that appear you are knowledgeful of. Why wanting to use these instead of European culture concepts that could be close to the same atmosphere you’d want to attain?

What European culture concepts do you mean?

I always was addicted to the cult mysteries of ancient Egypt, Sumer, Mesopotamia as well as the mystical Jewish tradition like the texts of the holy Qabalah and parts of the Bible so no European culture writings come close to what those topics can give me spiritually…

You say that you have had your own personal experiences with practicing the occult side. Where does this place you as a person in day to day activities and where does it take you in innermost personal settings...

I`m glad to be enlightened by my own personal belief, so my studies and experiences place me as a solid pillar within the grand temple in which I shall enter after Maveth has taken my sould apart…

Is there a difference between the lyrical aspect of the band and the personal studies In the occult you undertake?

Image

Yes, definitely. Necros`lyrics are dealing with topics as those of the Old Testament, Middle Eastern deities of good and evil, black mass mockery and copulation as well as a strong amount of everything which surrounds the deceased. On the contrary, my belief is filled to the highest point with the emanations of the shining Qabalah, mystical occult expressions of the Pentateuch (especially the Genesis), ancient mysteries of the temples and tombs of Egypt as well as slight parts of asian philosophies as those of the Tao Te King of Master Laotse…

How is the band seen, as it name implies, as a “anointed death†versus the more common view that most people have that the translation means “dead Christ

I do not care of what people have in mind when they questioning the name of Necros Christos. Important is how this entity works and what kind of transmissions this Deity is able to unleash. If rightfully used, “Triune Impurity Rites†can work as a key to doors unknown, seriously…

What made you want to sign to Sepulchral Voice Records?

Simply because they are totally dedicated people in whom I can trust without hesitation, something, which is far more important that a big record deal or money…fuck that trivialities though and hail Sepulchral Voice…

In what distributive ways are they able to push this release?

Ask them, I`m totally satisfied with their work though. Just have a look at their website where all distros are listed who ordered copies. If that isn`t good underground distribution I don´t know what it should be like…And; I shit on major distribution, everyone who wants to get the album can get it so that is all what counts…

Was there a reason you did not want to release this on your label, Tothundemeton Revelations?

Sure, because an entity as Necros Christos demands much time which I do not have so at last the label work should be made by other people…

Please explain the CD announcement flyer that says “Black Mass Is Beautifulâ€.

Our brother of Black Warcult Productions The Imperator took it from an old flyer advertising the 1970ties Coven LP “Witchcraft destroys minds and reaps soulsâ€.

Maybe this was the only time we just did something because we said “man, that´s cool†instead of thinking weeks about it…

The band hails from Berlin. What prompted you to create Necros Christos? There are very few German acts that would deliver refreshing music besides you, Bethlehem, Disaster, and of course the more renown acts like Sodom and so on…

The raise of Necros Christos has nothing to do with Berlin or even Germany, it has to do with spiritual passion, admiration, devotion and submission. Also, I think we have more excellent acts than those you already mentioned like Katharsis, Excoriate, Secrets Of The Moon, Deathronation, Drowned (of course), Blasphemic Lust, Mortuary Temple, Nebiros, Mortuus Infradeamoni plus many more so Germany is on the strong side again than just being a poor shodow of other countries…

As a live act, how does the band deliver the feel one hears on the studio recordings?

With our presence, our dressing, our show, plain and simple. The music flows as waves of black witchcraft betockening abysmal qliphotic darkness…

You have in other interviews, mentioned how special the “Necromantic Doom†demo is to you. Would you ever consider doing a different

mix with real drums done into it?

No, never.

Please describe your experience sharing the stage with INQUISITION.

Definitely a great one, serious guys they are delivering glorious Black Metal worship so it was an honour to open up for them… Your site, www.darknessdamnationdeath.com, describes setbacks occurring to you with demo releases. This could be disheartening to many. How was the band able to deal with this and move on?

I often was frustrated so to say, but useless fucks and rip offs as Silcharde Rec.or Ironfist Kommando just made us stronger. Who does care for them in the end anyway….?

I’d like to know more about the Night Of The Unmutilated Ritual Live Video an Bunkertor 4 Rehearsals Rehearsal Video. Where was this filmed and why was it only available on so few copies?

The Bunkertor rehearsals consisted only of two songs filmed when The Imperator came to a rehearsal once with a digi camera.. It was in a time when Christhammer and me were the only Necros`neophytes, so this video reached only close contacts and can be considered as pure nostalgia. Same as with the Night of…DVD. It contained some songs and excerpts from our show with Inquisition as well as some rehearsal cuts. Both weren´t as special as we would have sold them in more than 30 copies, really…

I`m not a big fan of all of this DVD shit anyway, so we shall see if we will ever come up with something more professonial concerning live takes…

Your music demos reminded me a lot of the early 1990’s Finnish Death scene and even the early works of Immolation. You have mentioned that you are a big fan of Venom, Celtic Frost, King Diamond, etc. How do these bands manifest themselves in the creative process of original material?

They play no role, plain and simple. When I take the guitar, something happens…or does not. If so, a song is flowing out of me in some minutes, an hour or two, but most times nothing reveals at all so I put the instrument back and care for other things…I never force anything to happen, inspiration must take my mind and soul fully, otherwise I do not consider myself as being possessed by Necros and I hate just jamming around though…

When the split with Goat Molestor was done, I thought that it was rather strange to have your music paired with Them since their caliber of music is nowhere close to Necros Christos. What made this happen?

What? I honestly think they belong to the best underground bands of today and their music is just fuckin`great and unholy Death fuckin`Metal in its truest essence…brilliant riffing and drumming and a voice which belongs to the most unholiest vocal expulsions of nowadays Death Metal scene…

Could you explain the significance of the triangle with the numbers 6 and 9 you use at your webpage?

First, it is a triangle, yes, but with a 9 at every peak each gliding into a d for darkness, damnation, death. The circle within the triangle represents Ain Soph, the Occult Absolute but in a state of holding back its essence to create, which some Qabalah experts call ZimZum.

Out of this creation emanates three times 9, the analytical number of man representing Adam Kadmon, Adam Belial and Adam Protoplast. Beneath are the three d`s, the qliphotic counterparts for the numbers. Everyone deep into Qabalah mysticism should know what I`m talking about, for the rest has to learn…

Why the choosing of “ Mors Dalos Ra†as a named entity in the band?

There was no choosing, there was no choice. Mors Dalos Ra is my name given unto me at some of my ceremonial meditations more than 10 years ago where I first used the abbreviation mordra only, but know focus on what Mors Dalos Ra can do for Necros Christos…

How is the conducting of a live show in contrast to a rehearsal for you?

We do not dress up for a rehearsal as we do for a live show. The name says it all, Metal “Showâ€, not Metal “Lessonâ€. Many bands should think twice about it, `cause I do not want to see a perfect interpretation of the songs when I go out for a gig, I wanna see the band`s essence. I would play much better if not dressed in a hoodie, leather coat, bone necklace, sun classes etc., bit it is the essence of

Necros which is summoned on every night we play…so I do not give a fuck about some mistakes and deliver what Necros Christos should stand for…

Seems demo cassettes are back in fashion again. Is this a trend or something that is just “too metal†to give up… I cannot speak for the whole underground scene, but when it comes to me I indeed prefer cassettes over CD-R`s, so it might be just a matter of taste as always…

May seem too early to ask but, are there new songs written for a future release at this time?

Written yes, but not rehearsed. I`ve two new songs ready which are called “Baal Of Ekron†and “Deathchambers Of Tulumâ€, but Necros Christos alone knows when those tracks could be unleashed…as far as I can estimate it by now, we will not be part of more Splits, 7inches or whatever caring only for a second full length, but as we needed six years for the first I can`t say when the successor of “Triune…†shall intoxicate the scene…

What would your opinion be of the oversaturation of bands in the Death and Black Metal genres that just copy each other or just want to sound like others because they happen to like that sort of sound?

I do not care at all. I know what I want to listen like, if something do not fits my taste I let it be. Fortunately, most bands reveal their stupidity in one way or another sooner or later so also in Black/Death Metal exists some sort of natural cleansing…

Do you foresee a clone wave of bands that copy your style without trying to generate their own?

No. Our style isn`t that breathtaking as many bands would jump on the path we follow. Maybe we can inject some of our darkness into others minds, but being pioneers do not fit for Necros Christos. We gladly took the inheritance which was left for us by many glorious bands and accept fully being one under thousands…

You are touring to support the new CD. Where is this crusade taking you to?

We are touring? Well, we will proceed some exclusive single gigs, that`s true, but not a tour. Next gigs are in Arnhem, The Netherlands being opener for the Archgoat/Black Witchery Tour and being part of the Hell`s Pleasure Metal Fest in July. We have some very interesting offers for the second half of 2007, but nothing`s sure yet…

By the time this gets posted, the March 03 ’07 show with Pentacle would have passed. Please elaborate on the performance by you and them.

Pentacle played headliner of course and did an awesome gig as always. Wannes` voice needs no introduction, this man is a living legend.

They got very good reactions from the audience so it looked like a success. Same with us, we had the best responses in Germany ever and the whole place was crowded like hell so there was nothing to complain about. I also want to mention German Black Metal sickos Wolfthorn and Death Metal purists Deathronation who both did very good gigs as well…

I’d like to thank you for your time and hope to bring on more listeners to your music. Any last words?

Thanks for the interview and support. Necros Christos shall continue, so be aware of the things to come…
