Would you like to write for NECROMETAL WEBZINE?

Do you like music and have always wanted to give back to it? Then if that’s that case you may want to join our crew here. NW is a zine that’s always been plagued with people coming and going for some reason and I feel we could use a few more writers & interviewers here to hopefully take NW to the next stage. These are some of the qualities we hope you have:

A good knowledge and understanding of metal, and genre’s of metal is a must.

You must be at least 18 years of age. People that think KoRn is metal will NOT be accepted.

Have access to the Internet regularly to write and send reviews/interviews to me

What would I be doing for the zine?

Well that is mostly up to you. For sure you would be writing reviews for both music and movies though Your also welcome and recommended to do interviews with any band of your choice as well as writing articles occasionally. But if you just want to concentrate on reviews that would be fine.

What do we review?

Heavy Metal (Black, Death, Doom, Thrash, Dark Ambient, Experimental, Noise, Gothic...etc…etc.).

How much do I have to contribute?

Well that’s up to you. But if anything one review a week is all I ask of you. If you want to review an entire books worth, awesome, but one a week is all that I ask. If you’re too busy with work, school, church, or fucking your girlfriend then don't bother.

What would I get for helping out?

Well you wont get an income at the end of the week if that’s what your wondering. Were a non-profit webzine and I can't pay anyone for his or her writings. However you will receive free CDs from time to time (providing that labels are sending them to me).

Also please tell me a little bit about your self such as favorite bands, hobbies, bands you’ve played in (if you have any), past writing experiences, girlfriend’s bra size....just kidding.., your review(s) ect.

If you decide you would want to help "NECROMETAL Webzine" grow then here is some requirements to help motivate all our old & new staff including myself. This is what we need from you guys choose at least one and do your best, your not limited to just one but one job is cool. Just helping us by support the Webzine and handing out flyers on the net or at shows is welcome as well.

1. REVIEWS - of metal demos, Ep's and Albums. We need you to do at least 3 to 4 a month don't worry about having great grammar non of us claim to be great writers so anything you put down will be cool as long as it isn't really short and stupid. Don't worry about talking shit about someone's cd it's your opinion and feel of what you got from the cd. If the band doesn't like it fuck them we only give real opinions on reviews not some sugarcoated bullshit some magazines and zines give. If you don't have a overflowing wallet with cash like me we can give you some tips and ways you can receive promos from labels and bands just ask, just remember don't be a asshole to people and you will be surprised to what you can get from people.

2.INTERVIEWS - This is probably the easiest to do since if you like going to shows or talking to bands on the web. Anything goes really, whatever you want to ask a band is fair game it's your call. Do keep some basic stuff in an interview like for example: What are the members names, what do they do in the band, Where are they from etc.... you get the point. We need you to interview 2 to 3 bands a month more if you wish there's really no limit to the stuff you wish to submit to us.

3.DVD OR VHS - You like to watch and buy Metal DVDs then heres your chance to review them and give a honest review of the layout, music, and overall sum of what you thought about the DVD. We need you to write at least 2 to 3 of these a month if you choose to write for this section.

*4.Blasts From The Past - You feel something from the past just had you going and deserves your review of the album and a sort of shrine on NM then heres your chance to let the metal world know who you thought really kicked some ass back in the day. This section isn't really a requirement just really for fun and to let people know how you fell about a certain album that has been lost in the shuffle over the years.

That's about it all it's your call as to what you want to do for us, everyone on the staff is required to do some form of promotion. You can print out & photo copy our flyers and hand them out at shows, email or post flyers on websites and forum. All we need is some basic info about you and what you plan to do for us so we can add your pic and info on the necro elite section.
